From the Bittern Line other transport operators link into train services as below. The Bittern Line Partnership has negotiated special arrangements with these operators for free or discounted on ward travel.

The CoastHopper

To further your day out by train we can strongly recommend the CoastHopper bus service which departs roughly every hour from just outside the tourist Information Office in Sheringham, opposite the Bittern Line rail station.
This serves the places shown on the map below (courtesy of John Hewes)

Buy a Bittern Line Rover ticket and your bus journey is FREE when you show the ticket to the bus driver. Alight and join the bus as often as you like and visit many interesting and historic places.
There are many pubs and cafes.
Walks and wonders to be found along the route as well as the Wells and Walsingham Miniature Railway (a discount of 50p off the train fare is offered to Bittern Line Rover ticket holders).

The Acle FlexiBus is a dial and ride service between Acle, Salhouse and Wroxham. To book a place on this service and to obtain the timetable please call 01493 752223. The service is operated by an ‘Our Bus’ minibus which is free to Bittern and Wherry Line rail ticket holders.
