The first train from Norwich leaves at 05.20 in the morning, and the first train to Norwich leaves Sheringham at 06.32 (or from Cromer at 06.03) on Mondays to Fridays. The last train back from Norwich leaves at 22:45 in the evening. Journey time between Norwich and Sheringham is about one hour and services operate a 1 hourly skip stop service at the rural intermediate stations, all services call at Hoveton & Wroxham, North Walsham, Cromer and West Runton and Sheringham. They alternate calling at Salhouse, Worstead, Gunton and Roughton Road. Saturday times are similar but with slight variations in the early morning.

The Sunday service is approximately every hour with the skip stop pattern. The first and last trains from Norwich leave at 08:36 and 20:36 pm. and from Sheringham at 09:43 and 21:43.

The hourly Sunday service will run from 18 May 2010 until 05 September 2010, after then it will revert to the two hourly all stations service.
